Returns & Exchanges

  • Full-price merchandise may be returned for a full refund or exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Discounted merchandise sales are final: we are not processing refunds for discounted merchandise at this time. However discounted merchandise may be returned for a store credit (web credit) or exchanged within 14 days of the delivery date. Discounted merchandise is merchandise purchased during a promotion, or using a Coupon Code or any sale merchandise.
  • Late returns received past the time frames outlined above may be returned for a store credit (web credit) or exchanged only. The amount of the store credit will be the amount paid for the item(s) returned including sales taxes, if applicable. No returns are accepted after 45 days of the delivery date.
  • Return shipping is FREE for domestic return addresses and full-price merchandise only. If you’d like to return your purchase, just follow our easy return instructions below and we will send you a prepaid shipping label that you can use to return your full priced item(s).
  • Worn or damaged merchandise is not acceptable for return. All items being returned must be in their original new condition and packaging. Alberto Fermani reserves the right to deny a refund if the merchandise does not meet return-policy standards.
  • Non-refundable fees: We offer free Ground shipping for any orders shipping to US addresses. If you chose to pay for expedited shipping when you placed your order, expedited shipping fees and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Non-US returns: Customers are required to pay for shipping, taxes & duty on returned merchandise sent back from outside the US.


Items purchased at a US store selling Alberto Fermani merchandise may be returned to Alberto Fermani USA either for an exchange of same style or for a store credit only. The amount of the store credit will be the purchase amount of the item excluding sales taxes. Return requirements for items purchased at other locations are the same as for items purchased at Customers are required to pay for return shipping. Proof of purchase is required.


Below are the details for our straightforward, hassle-free return or exchange policy. We have just one request: Please send your purchase back to us in the original packaging and in the same condition as you received it. Here’s how it works:

  • For exchanges or returns from within the USA, please send us an email at or
    call us at 888 331 1399. We will ask you for information about your exchange or return such as the reason for the return and we will email you a FedEx Ground shipping label.
  • If you choose to use your own carrier or if you ship from outside the US, you are responsible for the item until it is delivered and you are responsible for shipping, taxes and duty fees. Please return to:

  • Place the original Alberto Fermani shoe box into a suitable shipping box. If possible use the original shipping box your item came in. Please do not use the actual shoe box as a shipping container; FedEx will not accept it or insure it, and it will be easily damaged during shipping.
  • Drop off the package at a staffed FedEx or Kinko’s location and make sure to request a receipt to confirm you’ve handed the package to FedEx. For a list of drop off locations, please visit If you are unable to drop off the package, we can schedule a FedEx pickup. After we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it is in good condition (not worn, used or damaged). Within one week of the return being delivered(or sooner) we will respond with the following:
    • If you requested an exchange, the replacement item will be shipped to you and we will email you a shipping confirmation.
    • If you requested a return, your refund will be credited to the credit card or PayPal account you used to purchase the item and we will email you a credit confirmation.

Alberto Fermani Size Chart
The Alberto Fermani fit is generally snug. If you’d rather have a bit more room for your foot, we’d recommend sizing a half size up. In other words, if you usually wear a size 7, order a size 7 ½.

The size chart below is based upon a medium-width foot with a medium instep. However:

  • If your foot is wide you might want to size up half a size or a full size.
  • If you have a high instep, you might want to size up a half size or a full size.
  • If you want to wear socks with your booties, boots, or shoes, size up half a size to allow room and a comfortable fit.
So, for example, if you have a wide foot and you wear socks with your boots or shoes, you might want to go one full size up, say from a 7 to an 8.
